You can now specify a Maximum Currency value for a promo code. The promo code is valid only when the value of the registration total reaches the Minimum Currency value, but cannot be greater than the Maximum Currency value.

Using Maximum Currency for Promo Code

You can now specify a Maximum Currency value for a promo code. This new value works similarly to the way the Minimum Currency field works on a promo code. The promo code is valid only when the value of the registration reaches the Minimum Currency value, but cannot be greater than the Maximum Currency value. The new Maximum Currency field allows you to configure multiple promo codes into a Super Promo Code, without having the individual codes conflict with one another. It is also helpful for preventing double discounting when you also have a current combo price discount.

For example, let’s say you have each division costing $40 and you want to specify a special promo code provides 2 divisions for the price of one. You can generate a code that gives $40 discount when the Minimum Currency value is $80. But if you also have a special combo price that gives 3 divisions for $100, then when someone selects 3 divisions, the registration total becomes $100, which meets the minimum currency of $80 of the promo code. Thus is someone selects 3 divisions, but also applies the promo code, he would incorrectly get both discounts applied ($100-$40). With the Maximum Currency value introduced, you can specify that the code becomes invalid when the registration total reaches $80.

The Maximum Currency field must be completed for a promo code to work. If you do not need to use this field, enter a high value like 9999.
